Today I was confused about how to teach subtraction across the zeroes. I felt that most of my students were understanding the concept of regrouping, and "going next door" to borrow from a higher place value. But when I came to the subtracting across the zeroes with regrouping, there were some things that confused me! So I found a couple of videos to help me and my students understand subtraction across the zeros better.

This helped me show the process a little better and I liked the song :)

Rhombus!

I was talking with some other teachers and they said -can you believe it?- that even they had a hard time telling the difference between a square and a rhombus. I found another great song/video that may help us:)

So if you need to subtract four digit numbers that have a 0 in the place value, check out this fun demonstration.

So I found these videos to help me learn about 3D Shapes, Angles, and 2D Shapes! Check them out!

This first one is on Polygons (or figures with sides that connect). They also have angles in them!

This next video is on 3D Shapes. It really game me a better understanding of the 3D shapes I see every day:)

This video shows one my favorite tunes and how to tell the difference between the four different types of angles.
